[GRADE III] - 3rd Purification - [SAM SAN]
The 3rd Purification, also know as "Grade III" or "Sam San" is possible if the terms and conditions are met.
The grade 3 mage will be known as HyunSa
The grade 3 poet will be known as JinRin
The grade 3 rogue will be known as DoJuk
The grade 3 warrior will be known as HwaRangDo
Terms & Conditions
- Grade II / Ee San
- Minimum stats:
Mage : Vita 200.000 and mana 525.000
Poet : Vita 300.000 and mana 300.000
Rogue : Vita 410.000 and mana 345.000
Warrior: Vita 850.000 and mana 100.000
- Minimum 200 adventures in the legend mark
- A Master level at least one of your working skills
- 3.000.000.000 Exp
- 2.500.000 Coins
- 1 Mythic Heart
- 75 Zibong Essence
- 1 Silver Compass
- Killed or participated in a group that killed (in any order):
1. Hell Guard of Fire
2. Hell Guard of Wind
3. Hell Guard of Water
4. Gilim
After you have everything on the list above, go to west of mythic I. Click the NPC Diviner. He will take you to the Gate of Heaven for 25.000 Coins.
Go click the NPC in the corner that represent your class.
NPC Assassin - Rogue
NPC Bishop - Poet
NPC Knight - Warrior
NPC Wizard - Mage
You will be purified.

The Group
From a maximum group (15 players), only three keys of totem (explained below) is needed in the group.
Each hell gate needs one key. So discuss with your group who should make the sacrifice since making key of totem require additional sacrifice of exp and time.
Key of Totem
Prepare 1.200.000.000 Exp and 8 elemental keys;
- 1 Cloud Key
- 1 Earth Key
- 1 Fire Key
- 1 Heaven Key
- 1 Lightning Key
- 1 Mountain Key
- 1 Pond Key
- 1 Water Key
Go to west of mythic I. Click the NPC Diviner. He will take you to the Gate of Heaven for 25.000 Coins.
Click the NPC Holy Priestess and exchange all the 8 elemental keys and 1.2 bil exp with the Key of Life.
To make Key of Totem, you will need a set of totem keys;
- Baekho Key
- ChungRyong Key
- HyunMoo Key
- JuJak Key
There is only one place that you can make the Key of Totem and that is the Waterfall which is located south of Sesi Village.
Because Sesi Village is located after Sabana room 40 and making Key of Totem may fail (depends on luck and karma),
it is advised that the char who are going to Sesi Village has a spouse char.
Or has a lot set of totem keys or accompanied by someone that has a spouse.
In Sesi Vilage, meet NPC JungHwa in his house at 011,034. He will tell you to go to the water fall to get the Key of Totem.
Go to the water fall through the field of weeds that is located at the south of the village. At the field. Go to the north east of the map, you will reach the water fall.
Say "key of totem". If you succeed, you will get an item named "key of totem".
If fail, you will need another set of totem keys. Only the Key of Life remains in the event of failure.
As mentioned above, the whole group will need 3 'Key of Totem'
After 3 keys are made, you can all advance to the forest.
The Hell Guards
Make sure all of the party member present in front of the gate. A party member that is not in the room will prevent the group from advancing.
Only the party leader can take everyone inside the room. So he/she should enter first. An entry confirmation pop up will appear as an accident prevention method.
You can kill the guards in any order.
Iron cave 4 - Hell Guard of Water - Drop Water Pearl
Green cave 9 - Hell Guard of Wind - Drop Wind Pearl
Lotus --> Lotus Liver - Hell Guard of Fire - Drop Fire Pearl
The Hell Guard of Water is able to slowly regenerate its vita and cast area spell that may freeze all player within range for several seconds.
The Hell Guard of Wind is able to cast ultra high damage. Chances are, all group member died upon entering.
This is the safe position for all chars in the most southwest part of the room.
Anyone stand on or pass the tile marked with return scroll may take agro and be killed.

The Hell Guard of Fire is able to cast high area damage and in addition, it will start to cast Hell Fire like Spell with high damage when it's vita is below 50%.
This is the safe position for all chars, one take agro in one side while the rest camp and heal in the opposite side.
Location shown by 'Rojopati' may serve fail safe / second bait if Aphrodite killed.
He will then move to take Aphrodite's place and lure away the monsters from the crowd.

Each type of monster may drop a pearl. If not, kill another one or wait for another spawn.
The party should only advance to another cave AFTER acquiring a pearl and the grade II char alive when the hell guard is killed.
You will need all three types of pearl (fire pearl, water pearl, and wind pearl) to get inside the cave where Gilim is located.
Killing Gilim
Gilim is located in the Hell Gate of Earth, located in the forest 026,173.
Make sure you have restock your potions/pipes. Make sure your exp is not too full. Killing Gilim will reward you more than 800 millions of exp.
Gilim is very hard to kill mainly due to its high vita and high area damage. Gilim able to hit anyone within 8 tiles from it.
Note:
It does not matter if you are disconnected.
You'll log in again inside the boss room (Hell Guard/Gilim).
The only thing to consider is the party member left outside or anyone that use return scroll accidentally (you will be given some return scroll upon entering each cave).
3rd Purification Armor
Click the NPC in the corner that represent your class. Choose grade emblem. You will need to give the NPC the following items:

The weapons can be acquired from upgrading the following weapons via NPC Eternal Tree in the forest coordinate 021,093.

Spiky Bat --> Spiky Cleaver --> Il San Spike --> Ee San Spike

You can only upgrade a weapon of your class and only a weapon in your grade and below, not higher.
Keep in mind, the upgrading is based on karma, it may fail. You will also need money and exp to sacrifice each attempt to upgrade a weapon.
