Chinese New Year 2014
31 January 2014 - 10 February 2014.
This event is all about killing the villagers and get angpao from them.
You need to be level 99.
Go to South Kugnae, go up across the bridge. Click the NPC Wooden Horse and choose to enter Spring Village.
You will automatically transformed into a monster supposed to be Nian, a monster in Chinese Legend.
As a monster, you need to kill the villagers and avoid anything in red, as in the legend Nian weakness is red color.
The villagers, however does not run from you.
The blue one will start to go after you
The green and the red one may throw a fire cracker that will explode and damage all player within the radius.
However, the red one do 100% damage, instantly kill you.
You may need to do zig zag maneuver to avoid their fire crackers.
If you are dead, you will be warped outside.
There are also trap tiles similar like in Halloween event.
This ice tile will slow your movement for 5 seconds.
This speed tile will boost your movement speed for 8 seconds.
This invisible tile will make you invisible for 5 seconds. They can't see you, they can't kill you. The best tile!
This root tile will stun you, making you immobile for 5 seconds.
You may get one angpao upon killing a villager (80% chance).
You can also be in a group. There is a small chance to get angpao when someone in your group kill a villager.
Better than not right?
Also if there are too few players, like in midnight, doing multi client proves to be more advantageous.
Collect the angpao to trade it with rewards offered by the NPC or sell it to another player with high price.
NPC trade:
- 1 Angpao --> 2.500 Coins
- 88 Angpao --> 250.000 Coins
- 188 Angpao --> 888 Skill exp
- 888 Angpao --> Chinese Lantern (1 time only)
- 2.888 Angpao --> 28.500 EP + Legend Mark (1 time only)
