COUNTER STRIKE/DUST
Counter strike/dust is one of the daily mini game. The objective for terrorist [TR] team are to detonate a C4 bomb in one of the 2 target location.
The objective for counter terrorist [CT] team are to prevent any bomb planted and defuse any planted bomb if the TR manage to plant it.
When the time runs out, if bomb has not been planted, the CT team will win. However, if the bomb manage to be planted several seconds before the time is up.
The game will be prolonged until defused or detonated. Without the bomb has been planted, any team that manage to wipe out the entire enemy team will win.
Since this game was based on the famous counter strike game, ergo it is named counter strike. And since the main event is using the de_dust map design of counter strike,
the event was named according to the map it use; 'dust'. However, the name 'counter strike' is still used as practice mode.
MAIN EVENT
There are 5 rounds in the daily event.
Each round will give you:
- 150.000.000 Exp and 2 BP for participating
- 300.000.000 Exp and 3 BP for winning.
- 150.000.000 Exp and 5 BP for being listed in the top ten players of that round.
- 10.000.000 Exp and 1 BP per enemy you pushed to the water.
- Legend Mark count (see Quest section)
So even though you lose all 5 rounds, you will still come out with 750.000.000 Exp and 10 BP.
There are points system. Hitting an enemy will give you points and killing them will give more.
Only the names with 10 highest points that will be listed in the top score.
To join the event, go to the PlayNexia market and go to PlayNexia Tower, located at 016,005 in the market.
Enter the tower and use the elevator, open the elevator door by pressing "o" button. Go to the game center floor.
In the main event, the option for dust will appear in the NPC Game 1.
While a practice mode of a mini game (depends on the schedule of practice) will be listed while there is no main event present.
The dust gate will be opened 15 minutes before the first round starts. The server will announce the gate is opened.
Those who are late will have to wait to enter the waiting room and join the next round.
Upon entering dust game, you will be placed in the wide waiting room, the dust field, along with other players.
After the waiting time is up, you will be randomly placed into a team, either red [TR] or blue [CT].
You have one minute to get into positions and buy weaponry. After the game is started, you cannot buy anymore.
There will be 1 NPC near each base. On the lower side of TR base and on the left side of CT base.
The NPC sell weapons and grenades (under miscellaneous category). All is free.
Every character is able to buy 1 type of fire arm and 1 type of grenade. Explanation of weapons below.
You will be always have a knife, either by holster your weapon, or use your hunting weapon.
You will use the fire arm only when you equip it.
Friendly fire is off, but your grenades may still affect you besides the enemy.
To shoot press or hold 'space bar'.
To throw a grenade, equip it and press 'space bar'.
Your ammo is your mana. Depends on the type of the weapon, every time you shoot, a percentage of your mana will be lost.
To reload, press 'r'. Reloading takes 5 seconds. You will not able to shoot or throw a bomb at this time. Your mana will be replenished.
To plant a bomb, equip it and hold 'space bar'. Planting a bomb takes 3 seconds. If planting process interrupted, you will have to start over.
The bomb is given only to the character with the highest win count in the legend mark of the TR team each round.
The bomb can be given to other members by dropping it on the ground or throw it.
The bomb will automatically be dropped if the one carrying it die.
The CT team is not able to pick up the bomb from the ground.
To defuse a bomb, step on it and hold 'space bar'. Defusing a bomb will need 10 seconds. If defusing process interrupted, you will have to start over.
If died, you will have to wait until the round is over.
To prevent disturbance, the spirit of the dead player will not be seen by those alive
A live player will also walk through a spirit, so the dead will not be able to block their way. However, the spirit is still able to block each other.
Even if you were dead, you still can help your team by guiding them which route has less enemies or telling where is the location of the bomb.
To get out from the counter strike/dust field, use the return scroll.
You will be automatically kicked out if AFK.
Keep in mind, there are some rules you need to follow.
- You are not allowed to use macro/auto keyboard program to prevent AFK.
- You are not allowed to open multiple client.
- All general rules of PN still valid in the mini game & carnage.
- Once you're banned from mini game/carnage, you will be banned permanently.
So if you have a guest / phone ringing, it is best for you to use the return scroll.
Because if you are kicked/banned by GM Nuba, you are doomed.
PRACTICE MODE
Practice mode currently removed by GM, not sure why, so please ignore this section for now
In the practice mode, the map is using the deathmatch map design of counter strike.
So there is no C4 bomb involved. The NPC to buy the weapons also located in each team base.
The good thing is you will still get exp, alhough not as big as the main event.
The practice mode option will show up in NPC Game 1 when there is no main event.
For playing practice mode, you may get:
30.000.000 Exp for participating
15.000.000 Exp for winning
However, you will be considered participating if you did at least 2x hit to the enemy.
The practice is open 24 hours, but the practice game type will change at game hour reset. See "Time" post in the news.
