Some spell that may affect multiple targets may have an AoE or Area of Effect. Spells with AoE will only affects those within the AoE. The AoE will be stated specific in shape or size or both. Currently, known shape to exist are box shape and cross shape. The size will be stated as [number]x[number]. As example 2x2 or 4x4. 2x2 means 2 tiles to the left, 2 tiles to the right from the core and 2 tiles above, 2 tiles below from the core. 4x4 means 4 tiles to the left, 4 tiles to the right from the core and 4 tiles above, 4 tiles below from the core. The core can be the caster him/herself or the target. Depends on the spell.
Pictures below shows how wide is an AoE. The black round object in the middle is the core. The grass tile marked with yellow item is the area which will be affected by the spell. Depends on the spell/condition, the core may also be affected. This is how the 2x2 AoE Box Shape will look: This is how the 4x4 AoE Box Shape will look: This is how the 6x6 AoE Box Shape will look. Note that the additional 2 yellow item on all sides marks the 8x8 AoE. Since you can only see 7 tiles above and below, the eight is not seen. However, an 8x8 AoE spell will still affect the target standing 8 tiles above or below you. 8x8 spells usually known as screen view spell. Like bombs hell is a one screen view Hell Fire.
